The golf course is open! We had an excellent weekend of golf out at the course. With all 18 holes open for play and the course in great condition for this time of year, I anticipate another great golf season. There will be someone at the clubhouse daily even if the course might be unplayable. It does look like we are going to have a few days within the next week that might not quite be up to par for playing golf, but what a nice break we did have last weekend. It was like a mini vacation and you didn’t have to leave town!
St. Patrick’s day is Thursday March 17th. Be sure to stop out and have a Shamrock Margarita to celebrate the day!
Tommy Jones has planned his very own “Surprise” Birthday Party on Friday March 18th. He plans to be out at the club sometime around 6:00 PM. Tommy would love for everyone to attend. “You can get him whatever you would like.” – – This is sure to be a night filled with plenty of fun and hooligans!
I look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Junior Golf Association
In an effort to grow the game of golf for the future of our club we will be forming a junior golf association. The goal is to provide junior golf memberships, lessons, tournaments and reserved tee times for youth to come and enjoy the game of golf. If you would like to be involved in the junior golf association as a volunteer or would like to make donations please contact me.
Golf Course Improvements
We have members who have stepped forward to match donated funds for golf course improvements. These members have asked that a minimum of $10,000 be raised by members of the club, but will match up to $15,000. I have commitments from members already for $12,000. These funds will be used to improve specific items on the golf course. If you would like more information on donating please contact me.
New for 2016
Greg Snow (manager of Olivia Golf Club) and I have agreed upon a reciprocity deal with Olivia Golf Club. It will be $25 plus tax for 18 holes and a cart. In addition to Olivia, Eagle Creek in Willmar has agreed to another year of reciprocity for members of our club. The rate is the same, $25 plus tax for 18 holes and a cart. If you would like to play either Olivia or Eagle Creek contact me and I will set up your tee times.
Spring Cleanup
With the golf course now open we will be looking for volunteers for our annual spring clean up. As of now the date will be Saturday April 16th. Like last year there will be plenty to do out on the course as well as in the clubhouse. I thank you in advance for your help on this day.
